A little insight to my small balloon business

 My journey.

What started as a hobby creating fun balloon displays that I purchased of Amazon for family birthdays and small gatherings in the middle of the Covid 19 pandemic soon later blossomed into a small balloon business driven by passion and creativity. One of the reasons that I started my own balloons business was seeing the delight on people's faces when they walk into their event and seeing their ideas of a perfect party being brought to light. Now, I specialise in creating stunning balloon displays for big and small events, bubble balloons for any occasion and seasonal balloons for the young kids to get to experience magic through balloons. No two balloon events are the same and my small business is all about personalisation and customisation to keep the customer happy. My Business usually specialises in communion parties, engagement parties, baby showers birthday parties and balloons to celebrate the new opening of a business. I work closely to bringing your vison to life by continuing to grow and enlarge my business by buying new props and backdrops. The backdrops hat I currently have been a gold shimmer wall, a 6ft arch which comes in the colours white, blue and pink, a hoop and a rectangle arch. The props that i have bought over the years are LED number lights, neon light trips, tablecloths and chair covers with blue and pink bows to match the theme of the party.

Behind the scenes of a small balloon business

Looking at images of a balloon set up it may seem easy to do as it's a matter of blowing up balloons and tying them together in place, when it's not quite just as easy and I am going to explain the tips and tricks over the last 2 years which has helped me.

First, you must build a social media page, I have created an Instagram page and a fakebook page, this helps me upload my images and to advertise to my target audience. I post special offers that I put on when the market tends to die down and the business isn't as busy this usually happens September – November as everyone is usually spending their money on Christmas. Social media platforms also let me connect to my customer's and take on their orders, chat to them to come up with ideas for their perfect party. Here are images of

Secondly, you need to buy the best quality of balloons to ahive a good quality outcome. Balloons that you buy in high street shops such as Tesco Asda or card factory will not give you good quality ballons. You need to shop in wholesalers and create a trade account and buy the brands Kallsian ,Supertex or Qualatex. Balloons come in sizes 18-inch 12-inch and 5-inch in most cases you will need 12inch and 5binch ballons in all set ups. The 12inch blown up ballons be made into clusters of 6,8 or 10 balloon deepening of the size of the set up and the 5-inch ballons are made into 3 balloons to fill in any gaps or holes of the setup

I can't wait to share more tips on how I keep my balloon business successful. I might even show you how I do my set ups and give you a sneak peek behind the scenes of my working day. Please stay tuned to read more.
